The work
- Read the agreed drawing, reference sample or visual acceptance criteria before checking a component.
- Carry out the visual, dimensional or in-process checks assigned for the role.
- Record measurements, inspection quantities and observations accurately.
- Identify nonconforming material and escalate unclear results to the responsible quality team.
